DCR Nashville is celebrating its 20th Anniversary! What began in 2004 as a venture specializing in the rental of high end digital audio consoles to the touring industry has transformed into a comprehensive event service provider, offering expertise in audio, lighting, and video solutions.
Howard Jones, Founder and CEO reflected on the history and progression of the company, “It’s amazing to think we’re entering our 20th year of business here in Nashville. It’s been a roller coaster ride from the beginning and hasn’t let up. I’m grateful for all of our clients, partners and staff for continuing to bring the vision to life.”
These two decades have been filled with achievements, challenges and growth. A rear view journey that we’ll be heading down all year
DCR Nashville’s first office was within the Soundcheck Building in Nashville. Starting at 200 square feet, after 20 years DCR resides in a much larger space in Downtown Nashville.
DCR Nashville’s longest client, Tracy Lawrence, performing in a Texas Honky Tonk. Tracy was one of the very first clients that took DCR’s consoles on the road and remains a client of the brand to this day.

Howard has proudly worked beside his good buddy, Brantley Gilbert, from the beginning of his long-standing career. From small honky tonks to arenas, Howard has mixed, production managed and/or provided all gear for the production. DCR Nashville is proud to partner with Brantley as an incredible entertainer and even better human being.
