Come June, people from all over the world flock to Middle Tennessee for two of the state’s biggest music festivals: Bonnaroo and CMA Music Fest.
DCR Nashville is fortunate enough to partner with the production manager for the CMA Festival, Greg Pitman. A long-standing relationship between Pitman, DCR Nashville’s GM John Schirmer and the Country Music Association put DCR Nashville in the trusted position of providing audio and lighting services for multiple CMA Fest stages.
“When a relationship that extends over the last 6 years calls on you to provide production services for one of the largest festivals in the world you answer the phone.”
- John Schirmer
Providing production for CMA Fest is no small feat. Each year the CMA Fest stages run for four consecutive days from 10:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. with 10 up and coming national acts performing 25 minutes each daily. When the CMA program material ends DCR Nashville’s team resets the stage so that the Hard Rock Café can opperate the stage from 5:30 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. with six acts performing every night for 50 minutes each. With close to 60 bands over a four-day, three-night period, the Country Music Association turns to a relationship they can trust in. Year after year they turn to DCR Nashville.
