Lee Pehkonen grew up in Fort Collins, Colorado, as a snowboarder and musician. His entire life he has been in love with music. It has been his passion ever since he can remember. Ryan started playing the guitar in 5th grade and since then has become proficient
in many other instruments such as, the piano, bass, drums, oboe, and handbells. Growing up, all he wanted to do was surround himself with music. After highschool, Ryan attended the Blackbird Academy to study live sound engineering. He thought that could open
the door to many opportunities to be a part of the music industry and ultimately surround himself with music, like he always dreamed of doing. Since Graduating school in March of 2017, Ryan has been on the road touring with Cassadee Pope as her fill in Monitor
Engineer, touring with an up and coming country artist named Dylan Schneider as his overall sound engineer and guitar tech. In addition to touring, Ryan has become a very proud employee of DCR. With Ryan’s short experience in this industry, so far he is incredibly
excited to see what the future holds both for his personal career, and his role a member of the DCR-Nashville team.
Fun Fact: Ryan was a competitive snowboarder ranked 7th in the nation at age 18.
