Shane Hamill

Account Manager

Shane started his music industry career in 1992 working for Clair Brothers in Manheim, PA. The following year, at age twenty, he found himself on his first 4-month European stadium tour with a well-known Irish band. One of Shane’s mentors told him one night over a pint: “You don’t find this work; it finds you. When the road knocks on your door, you either answer it or you don’t.” Shane decided to answer that door.

Throughout the 1990’s, he toured as an audio technician and engineer for popular Country, Rock and Contemporary Christian Music artists, even trying his hand at a short 2-year stint as a guitar technician. Taking on various touring roles, Shane realized that there was much to learn about the music industry, and he set out to learn as much as he could about other areas of production over the next few years.

In 2002, he was offered his first job as a Production Manager. He later went on to assume the role of Tour Manager with various artists. In December 2011, he stepped off a tour bus for the last time, after completing his twentieth year of touring. He took a job with 4Wall Entertainment Lighting as an Account Manager and transitioned to VP of Business Development. Next, he spent two years developing the operations strategy and model for growing production company, Labelive.

In January 2017, Shane joined DCR Nashville as an Account and Operations Manager. Shane has a passion for empowering people to achieve great things, whether within the organization or as clients of DCR Nashville. Shane never stops trying to find ways to improve himself, the company and the client experience.

Fun Fact – In 2011, Shane was awarded the honor of becoming a Kentucky Colonel. However, he has yet to actually buy the white suite and bolo tie.
